FuruizeCup
The following is from a Furuize employee’s full experience and feelings about using a menstrual cup, hopefully this will help those who want to try it.
4 years ago, I had never heard of menstrual cups and had only used sanitary napkins and tampons from various well-known brands. Until I came to work at Furuize factory. In the first half year, although I was exposed to different styles of menstrual cups every day, I still couldn’t accept trying it on my own. With more and more global orders become bigger and bigger, and customers continued to give positive feedback, I decided to try it myself.
Officially started my journey of menstrual cup!
I still remember that one day in April 2020, I made up my mind to try it. Based on feedback from customers and the market, I chose Ring cup and Easy cup. I chose the colors I liked and all the sizes from the factory. Taking our Furuize touch type steam sterilizer from factory together with cups to home. I tried different sizes until I felt that size S was the best choice for me. Be sure to keep in mind, wash hands before and after use menstrual cups.
Since April of that year, I started using menstrual cups instead of sanitary napkin and tampons. It took around 2 months for me to practise how to use it. After around 2 months, it was easy for me to put it in and remove it out. I became professional then. the familiarity period varies from person to person. However, as far as I know, it is almost impossible to get used to it within a few days of using it. This learning process is about exploring the body, practicing folding and placing the menstrual cup, and becoming proficient in putting it in and taking it out. If you have a sensitive constitution, you may have to get used to its existence in the early stages of when using it, so be patient with yourself. You must also carefully explore where to put it in the best position, otherwise it may be missed. I think this product deserves to be promoted, All sisters should enjoy it, and that we should strive to be more comfortable and free after having to live with menstruation for decades.
In the following years, I tried all the cup types of Furuize, the picture below shows all Furuize menstrual cups and its related products, However, I prefer and rely on the Easy cup, Vitality cup, and Ring cup:
Easy ring: The unique design of fingerprints and handles, makes menstrual cup use easier. Fingerprint design is easy to put in. The lines on the small tail can increase the friction edge, making it easy to take out and difficult to slip from hand.
Ring Cup: It is made of soft material. When you put it in and open it, you won’t feel much pain. It is designed with ring handle, which is easy to remove. Large capacity, no worry for long time.
Vitality cup: It has a long tail that you can cut it to a comfortable length before use it.
Personal experience: Before choosing, measure the distance from the vaginal opening to the cervix, and then combine it with your menstrual flow and sexual life to choose a suitable menstrual cup! Measurement method: When your menstrual period is about to end, put your clean fingers into the vagina and feel a raised, soft place, which is the cervix. How deep this finger goes in represents the height of the cervix. Then the length of the cup (ignoring the clippable tail) should not exceed the height of the cervix.
After using the menstrual cup for half a year, sanitary napkins and tampons are completely replaced by menstrual cups, even though sanitary napkins and tampons have been used for more than 20 years.
why? That’s because the menstrual cup will make menstruation easier: invisible, long time for single use, low discomfort, high cleanliness, no odor, easy to sterilize and sterilize, long shelf life, economical, environmentally friendly, and portable. The combined advantages of sanitary napkins and tampons are not as many as those of a menstrual cup.
Invisible, you can’t see it and others can’t see it. It doesn’t affect dressing, especially is much convenient in summer. It won’t get stuck in stockings or thigh meat like sanitary napkins, and it won’t squeeze out a fan shape on skirts and pants. It’s comfortable and dry. A single one can last a long time, and the time of menstrual cup should be left in the body depends on the mood and the amount of menstrual blood. General popular articles will tell you 8-12 hours. In fact, you don’t need to be so precise in terms of time, just once earlier and once later.
In fact, if the menstrual cup is in the right position, it will be really comfortable once you use it smoothly. The discomfort will be low, and you will naturally forget about menstruation. Isn’t this our second strongest desire for menstruation? (The first one is, of course, just don’t have menstruation, lol) There are no blood stains on the underwear, no other menstrual product waste needs to be thrown away, environmental protection + high cleanliness + no odor, no foreign body feeling like using sanitary napkins and tampons, no It hinders movement and goes to the toilet as usual. The best thing is that it does not affect sleep and can be moved in any position without any problem.
The cup itself is small and easy to carry when traveling. If you go hiking and exploring in the wilderness, after all, you always want to avoid frequent trips to the toilet while on the road. If you have dysmenorrhea, massaging the clit to stimulate muscle contraction will relieve the pain. Because the menstrual cup is in a deep position, it will not affect the secretion of lubrication, and it blocks blood and will not dirty your hands.
For disinfection and sterilization, if I travel, I bring Furuize’s sterilizer cup. Fold the sterilizer cup and put it in my bag. It doesn’t take up any space. At night in the hotel, I boil a pot for a meeting, put in the rinsed menstrual cup, and boil water. Carry out disinfection. If I’m at home, I use a touch screen sterilizer, plug it in, and it’s disinfected in no time.
The economic benefits of using a menstrual cup are indeed significant, offering a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional menstrual products. The financial advantages stem from various factors, making the menstrual cup a wise investment that not only benefits the user’s budget but also contributes to environmental sustainability.
Firstly, a menstrual cup is a one-time purchase that typically lasts for several years. Unlike disposable products such as tampons or pads, which require continuous repurchasing, a well-maintained menstrual cup can be used for up to ten years. This extended lifespan translates into substantial savings over time. The initial cost may seem higher compared to a monthly supply of disposable products, but the long-term investment proves to be considerably more economical.
Moreover, the reusable nature of menstrual cups aligns with the principles of sustainability. Traditional menstrual products contribute significantly to environmental waste, with millions of tampons and pads ending up in landfills each year. In contrast, a menstrual cup generates minimal waste, reducing the environmental impact associated with the production and disposal of disposable products. By choosing a menstrual cup, individuals not only save money but also actively participate in reducing their ecological footprint.
Additionally, the financial benefits extend beyond the individual level to societal and global perspectives. The reduced demand for disposable menstrual products decreases the overall manufacturing and transportation costs associated with these items. This, in turn, contributes to lowering the environmental footprint of the menstrual product industry. As more people adopt menstrual cups, the cumulative effect results in decreased resource consumption, energy usage, and waste generation on a larger scale.
In conclusion, the economic advantages of using a menstrual cup are rooted in its longevity, reduced environmental impact, and overall cost-effectiveness. By making a one-time investment in a menstrual cup, individuals can enjoy significant savings over the long term while contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to menstruation.
